Fire defence

A long line of US Army vehicles and equipment from Ft. Carson arrives at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The wildfire has forced at least 35,000 people from their homes and was nipping at the edges of the academy on Wednesday. The convoy included many large earth-moving machines, troops and supplies for the army to use to help defend the academy from the fire.
