Prove anti-Malay, anti-Islam claim and I’ll ask Teresa Kok to apologise, says Kit Siang
Lim Kit Siang has promised today said he would ask Teresa Kok to apologise and withdraw her "Onderful Malaysia" video if anyone can show that the video is anti-Malay or anti-Islam .
The DAP adviser said he watched the 11-minute video closely several times but could not find anything that is remotely un-Islamic.
Instead, Lim said the video was a “stinging critique” on the alleged failures of the Najib administration to resolve pressing national concerns.
“We can agree or disagree as to whether Teresa’s video was good, bad or even atrocious... but what is completely unacceptable is resort to lies and falsehoods to accuse Teresa’s video as anti-Malay and anti-Islam,” he said in a statement today.
“I will ask Teresa to withdraw and apologise for the ‘Onederful Malaysia’ video if anyone can show there is any part which is anti-Malay and anti-Islam,” the Gelang Patah MP said.
Lim repeated his outrage against Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi who yesterday had played down the slap-threat against Kok.
He expressed his dismay with Minister for Housing and Urban Wellbeing Abdul Rahman Dahlan who also blamed Kok for the fiasco.
“In a series of tweets, Abdul Rahman said Teresa should not play victim when threatened by Muslim groups.
“He made the preposterous allegation that DAP had “relentlessly attacked the position of Malays and Muslims.
“Abdul Rahman was telling a pack of lies when he alleged that the DAP had “since 2008... relentlessly attacked the position of Malays and Islam” and had even “insulted” the Yang diPertuan Agong and Islam, for these allegations and lies are completely untrue,” he added.
The 11-minute satirical Chinese New Year clip which lampoons current issues in Malaysia has come under criticism from Umno and six Muslim NGOs which called itself the the “Council of Islamic NGOs”.
Last Thursday it slaughtered two live chickens in their protest against Kok video and smeared the blood on a banner with images of DAP and PKR lawmakers.
The banner also warned of “nightmares” of May 13, 1969, in reference to the bloody racial riots of that year, and incited physical violence against Kok by offering members of the public RM1,200 to slap the parliamentarian and record the act.
"THEY" knew it very well since day one.
A good government would definitely clarified that nothing racial was involved in it and nothing
was done to calm down this escalating racial issue by "THEM"
If there is any Anti Malays/Islam in Teresa Kok's video clip, not only she have to opologise,
charge her in court and jail her. I believe no Malaysians will voice any objection.
Malays were misleads into believing that their race and religion had been insulted.
Racial hatred were let to escalated with evil intention by certain group of politically motivated
peoples to achieved their own personal hidden agendas at the expense of raykats racial unity.
Whats your move ?
No one in MCA understand Cantonese and Mandarin ?

Abraham Lincoln said:
"You can fool all the people some of the time,
some people all the time, but you can't
fool all the people all of the time."
These wise words of 'Honest Abe" should be drummed
into the thick numb skulls of dUMNO leaders and their cronies.
They have been lying to the rakyat for way too long.
No need to get angry, that's the quality of our ministers. We can not expect much from them.
However, you have to praise for their good imagination because they can link anything to anti Malays and anti Muslim and yet there are some many clever people out there supporting their clever ministers.
MCA? Why we still hope that puppy in BN can help us?
Their is No anti - Malay or Anti - Islam in it at all....So Dear Government (BN ) Minster, please Wake up to yourself. And Stop STIRING up Racial Tension... Malaysia is a lovely country !
First of all, you guys know $h|t about Chinese language and now you are claiming to know better than the Chinese?
When you are being corrected on the translation, being a kid you went and attack different knowing the first barrage is not working by saying it is seditious?
How on earth it is seditious to highlight actual incident which happen? So Utusan defaming others and UMNO youth shouting 513 are not seditious compared to a video mentioning factual incident?
Then you proceed on with guerrilla attack by offering a bounty on slapping Teresa when you know you do not have a court case against her.
Malaysians, judge for yourself. Where is the justification to their actions. For someone claiming to defend Islam, they did something the opposite and very unIslamic there
no point LKS.. they just want hit the opposition...the oppositio do nothinh wrong they kena or always kena,.they do wrong escape.. no need to wait until 2017 elections ...let the GE14 begin now and get of them idiots out..
Robocop to the rescue !!!!!
These days in Malaysia, we can obviously see how malays and the religion of islam being treated differently by some other people who claimed to be democratic and liberal! They acted badly masking behind a freedom of expression whereas they are actually verbally attacking the malays and the muslim community vehemently. When they do something bad (be it electronically or physically) by playing sentiments which touched the sensivity of the malay/muslim folds, do not surprised when these people (the malay muslims) will outrageously act in a way as if taking the law into their hands! Those politically driven act of those people is actually happened in tandem with the politically triggered action by the other part of people (the sentiment player)! So, this is political! By applying the religious and racial sentiment as these two are historically known could lead to more disastrous impact to the human society! That’s why the government has been so vocal in wiping out the shiah teachings from wide spreading in this country as this religious sect is politically dangerous to the well-being of Malaysians as a whole, not only to the muslims themselves! Most of the Malaysian people especially the Malay muslims are now divided and this can be observed with the split of Malays in terms of political party! There is PAS, religiously speaking, there is UMNO, racially speaking. While there is a seemingly liberal party like the PKR and DAP parties which consist of mixed minority Malays and some other majority races but with still a racial and religious marginalising element within! So, this is seen by certain other opposing politico as a chance to put the Malay muslims into havoc! This is indeed a matter of faith degradation to the muslim community if they never realised that they are actually being played politically by some dirty politique! It is well known that all muslims are people who loved their religion even though they might not pious or religious! They are ready to do anything to protect their faith from being tarnished or stained by other irresponsible individual as those dirty politiques! Of course we are not condoning to the idea of ‘slaughtering in the public’ and ‘slapping suggestion’ as those are obviously and crystal clear legally chargeable conducts or misdemeanours. Every people in Malaysia are now legally aware of the legal rules in this country! No need to speak about it verbosely!...Charge whoever on the wrong (legally speaking)! so the call here is...”O you the politico, please be sensitive to others sensitivity, stop your dirty ways of politicising, be it verbally or physically, electronically or non-electronically! Don’t advocate the fire of hatred and don’t rekindle the fire of rage! STOP STARTING OFF THAT TYEP OF OUTRAGOUS ACT!!! Live in harmony as we all want it to be!”
