Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee lunch saw the gathering of monarchs from all over the world, celebrating the decades of the queen's reign. With emperors, kings, princes, dukes and more in attendance, the day was a sparkling reminder of bygone days when monarchies were the supreme power in a state.
There are capable and respectable heads of states as well as corrupt and arrogant ones.It depends on your country. We should not condemn all of them because they apparently live in ivory towers while their citizens squat. They are granted certain privileges by virtue of their status.They can be toppled by people power as well. Be fair in your judgement and comments.
Does anyone in fact actually understood or understand what Salman Rushdie's "satanic verses" of Islam stands? I don't think he had insulted Islam neither had he such an intention. However, the subject have insulted Muslims or the like arising from a different dimensions of thoughts and beliefs that is far out from the relevant virtues.
The aforesaid is by conclusions of my past encounters and experiences. I did not read the said book.
