Indonesian air force plane crashes into housing complex in Jakarta

At least eight houses burning, no casualties from turboprop plane crash


BREAKING NEWS: An Indonesian air force plane, believed to be a Fokker 27, has just crashed into a housing complex in Jakarta Thursday.

No casualties have been reported from the turboprop aircraft crash, but an AP report states that sources describe at least eight houses burning in the Halim Perdanakusuma neighbourhood.

In May, a Sukhoi Superjet 100 crashed during a demonstration in south Jakarta, killing all 45 passengers.
