Durga devi: I was watching a movie with my friends at a theatre... suddenly the chairs were shaking... almost blanked out, didn't know what to do... luckily the guide asked us to get out... this was really shocking... the moment was really ridiculous... hopefully everyone is good out there... just pray hard to God..

penanngguy: We felt the second tremor at about 6.30pm... but the 1st one was terribly shakey.

Anand Chaubey: Felt this for 3 minutes in Seagate - Suntech office, Penang. I thought my colleague was pulling my chair, then I realised everyone was standing and looking outside. It's good no one was hurt anywhere. I got this experience first time on 16 Floor office... and a friend of mine felt this from the 30th floor. Hope I never have this again....

Just a word of reminder to Malaysians.  Everytime an earthquake strikes to our neighbouring country Indonesia we feel the tremor and at times it is quite frightening as we never experienced a direct impact to our country.  So be prepared as mother nature can sometimes turn the direction towards us (we hope and pray no such disaster comes to our shore).  As the pattern of weather is changing in the whole world, we as Malaysians must be prepared for any eventuality and never say it won't happen to our country as we are not anywhere near the earthquake belt.
