Anders Behring Breivik's trial started on Monday the 16th of April. This was the first time the Norwegian people have heard Breivik's voice in public. The first day of the trial was shown on Norwegian TV, but certain details of the horrific massacre were bleeped out in respect to the victim's and victim's family members.
"I admit to the acts, but not criminal guilt," Breivik told the court on the first day of the trial. "I don't recognize Norwegian courts because you get your mandate from the Norwegian political parties who support multiculturalism," he continued.
The trial is being followed closely by Norwegians, but many fear that Breivik will be using the courtroom as a platform to spread his fanatical ideas.
