Philippine President Benigno Aquino will make a two-day official visit to Malaysia on February 27 to enhance bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement today that Aquino, who is visiting Malaysia for the first time, will be granted an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah.
Aquino is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to discuss bilateral issues.
Trade volume between both countries amounted to US$4.1 billion (RM13.46 billion), with Malaysia's exports totalling US$2.7 billion and imports at US$1.3 billion for the period between January and November last year. – Bernama, February 20, 2014.
